Benny Struttmann

Benny B. Struttmann, 80, of Fulton, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at his home.

Benny was born in Bluffton on May 15, 1944, the son of the late Ben H. & Frances (Bartley) Struttmann.

He was the husband of Hazel (Schutt) Struttmann. They were united in marriage on May 8, 1971 at New Florence.

Benny was a welder for AP Green in Mexico (Audrain County) for over 30 years.  In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, farming and taking care of his livestock.  He raised mules and enjoyed coon hunting with them.

Benny is survived by his wife Hazel Struttmann, of Fulton; two daughters, Deborah Thomas and husband Rusty of St. Louis; and Robyn Antonaccio and husband Jeff, of Tampa, Fla.; a son, Kirby Struttmann and wife Shauna of Pleasant Hill; a sister, Darlene Hiatte of Mexico; a sister-in-law, Joyce Schmidt and husband Robert of New Florence; two brothers-in-law, Jim Schutt and wife Nancy of Hermann and Ron Schutt of Hermann; grandchildren, Justin Thomas and fiance Torie Olson, Brett Thomas and wife Hannah, Drew Thomas, Joseph Antonaccio and Cheyenne Struttmann-Smith and husband Brayden; and great grandchildren, Porter Struttmann-Smith and Oliver Thomas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, John Struttmann; a step-son, David Flowers; and a grandson, Ben Struttmann.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be given to St. Martin's Cemetery in Starkenburg.
