Carole Lynn Hank, 75, of Montgomery City, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, at her home.
Carole was born in St. Louis on March 1, 1949, to Carl O. Brumagin and Margaret (Fann) Brumagin. She married Warren Hank, Jr. on September 23, 1967, at the First Baptist Church in Montgomery City. They were married for 56 loving years. She worked in the greenhouse and nursery business for over 30 years as a garden specialist. Carole had a passion for plants and made many connections over the years through teaching others how to care for plants and flowers. People would come from all areas to ask for her guidance. She was a natural caregiver and nurturer, and she always had a smile on her face. She was also an avid reader and an amazing cook. She loved to prepare meals for her family. Carole’s family held a special place in her life. It brought her great joy to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Hank is survived by her husband, Warren Hank, Jr., of the home; children: Michelle Hank of California (Moniteau County), Kevin (Misty) Hank of Buffalo, Missouri, Anita (Stephen) Nelson of St. Louis, Missouri, Christina Hank of High Hill, Missouri, Melanie Hank of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren: Katlyn, Madison, and Emma Hank, of California, Ian and Anna Nelson of St. Louis, Missouri, Austin and Max Coriell of St. Louis, Missouri; siblings: John (Sue) Brumagin, Marlene Roberts, Barbara (Butch) Clark, Craig (Beverly) Brumagin, Diane (Bruce) Webb; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Margaret Brumagin, her parents-in-laws, Warren and Anna Hank, brother, Carl Brumagin, and sister, Virginia Busken.
The family is having private graveside services. Casketbearers are Stephen Nelson, Ian Nelson, Austin Coriell, Max Coriell, Aaron Clark, and Travis Broocke. Honorary Casketbearers are Kevin Hank, Anna Nelson, Katlyn Hank, Madison Hank, and Emma Hank.
