The Montgomery County softball team knocked off Clopton 5-2 in an Eastern Missouri Conference game on Sept. 14 at Kiwanis Fields. Senior El Reagan finished with three hits and two runs scored, junior Aliviah Fischer had two hits and two RBIs, sophomore shortstop Josy Eversmeyer made nine putouts and freshman Reese Hill finished with nine strikeouts in the circle for the Wildcats, who matched their win total of nine from last year with the victory over Clopton.
