Benjamin Hensiek

Benjamin Eugene Hensiek passed away on September 7, 2020 in Lake St. Louis at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Audrey Hensiek nee LaBanca of Troy, Missouri. He is survived by his brother, Virgil Hensiek of Belleville, IL; sister-in-law, Janet (Charles) Lee; three brother-in-laws, Paul (Kathy) LaBanca, Leslie (Pam) LaBanca, David (Sharon) LaBanca; He is preceded in death by his father, Bennie Hensiek, mother, Molly Elizabeth Hensiek, sister, Darlene Allen, brother, Ray Hensiek, brother, Roy Hensiek, brother, George Hensiek, brother, Bobby Hensiek.
Benjamin Eugene Hensiek was born to Bennie and Betty Witt Hensiek on August 22, 1938 in Jonesburg. He proudly served his country in the Marines from 1956-1962. He married Audrey LaBanca on June 18, 1976 in Ottumwa, IA. Ben retired from Binkley's, Holland Hitch in 2001. After retirement, he moved to Branson where he drove a tour bus for Husky Tours for seven years and worked four years at Silver Dollar City. Ben was kind-hearted and always saw the best in people. He enjoyed working and would always help anyone who was in need. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m.-8 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Pitman Funeral Home in Jonesburg. The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Pitman Funeral Home and the burial will be at Jonesburg City Cemetery.
