What is your favorite sports memory? My favorite sports memory was this summer when all of the schools were closed because of COVID-19 and we had basketball practice in the park. This big Great Dane ran through our practice and we caught her. We named her Scoobette. Another one of my favorite sports memories was last winter after basketball practice. Lyric (Ford) and I were about to go on our run. It was snowing super hard outside and it was dark. We ran in the dark with flashlights being careful not to slip and fall on all the snow.

What is your pregame ritual? I don’t like to talk a lot before I run or play a game. So I kind of just keep to myself, play games and listen to music.

Who is your favorite athlete? Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty.

What is your favorite part of sports? My favorite part of all high school sports is my team. Both my basketball and cross country teams are just phenomenal to work with and be a part of. They are all super positive and competitive.

When I’m on the Internet, I go to…? Usually Netflix and watch The Office.

What is a motto you follow? You have been given a talent. Talent is not something to take pride in. God gave you that talent you had nothing to do with. Your hard work is what you should take pride in because you did that. And in the end, give all the glory to God. – John Slovensky.

What will you miss the most about high school? I will miss the people more than anything.

Hobbies: Basketball, running, biking, drawing and watching Netflix.
